The battery opening door on the mod easy opens on a hinge that feels flimsy. If two hinges were put on the bottom and it opened downward it would still be waterproof if you had the gasket on it and it would be much tougher. I'm afraid that this one single hinge with as much as I use my bike that if I were to bump that door while I was open or just let it fly, it seems like it would want to bend and that's not a good thing
